What is the process of getting veneers?

Before the procedure begins, your dentist cleans your affected teeth, takes digital X-rays to get a close view of your teeth’s positioning, and makes an impression of your teeth to create your veneers.

Your veneers are customized and made to specifically fit your mouth and shaped to your cosmetic preferences. Once the veneers are made, your dentist starts the procedure. 

Your dentist removes a thin layer of your original tooth enamel to make room for the porcelain veneer application. Then they place an adhesive between the prepared tooth and the veneer and use a specialized curing light to harden and permanently bond it.
